In conversation with Ayushmann

The film ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ narrates the love story of Ayushmann and Jitendra. It puts light on homosexuality, projecting the fact that we need to accept it and not make it a taboo in our society. Ayushmann and Jitendra’s kiss made the audience go awe. Ayushmann talked about the shot in an interview with ETimes. He said that they had taken three takes for the chance. It was a bit different and weird for them, for it was a guy. As an actor, they remain prepared for every type of situation. The idea of the kiss was to project it, usually between the same genders. The kiss was important in the film, or else in his eyes, the film would have remained somewhere incomplete.
