“I am not fit for Hollywood. I am happy being here (in Bollywood). I have a huge audience to entertain. I do get small and big offers (from Hollywood) but I say no,” the actor admitted while speaking to reporters in London.
Akshay’s forte from the start has been comedy and action. Of the two, he finds comedy more difficult.
“I feel comfortable playing both action and comic roles. I can perform anything but comedy is the toughest as it is very difficult to make somebody laugh,” Akshay said.
The 42-year-old star will next be seen in director Priyadarshan’s political satire Khatta Meetha which releases in July.
In the movie, co-starring south actress Trisha, Akshay plays a struggling road construction contractor who’s unable to fit in the corrupt system until he too becomes corrupt and begins to bribe officials.
