South siren Ileana gets film opposite Ranbir Kapoor
The south actress Ileana, who has given hits like Pokkiri, Jalsa and Kick, and is known for her distinct style statement, has bagged a role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in none other than Anurag Basu’s film Silence.

We wonder what impressed Anurag about Ileana? The actress is unlike many other south actresses with a slender figure and suave personality. Ileana D’Cruz (that’s her full name) impressed director Anurag Basu with her acting as he is the man who seeks talent and has launched an actress like Kangana Ranaut into the film industry.

The film also has two other actresses and Ileana is the third one. But she need not worry as Anurag’s female characters are not just eye candies. Priyanka Chopra is already on board for the film, and later Asin came into the picture as Katrina Kaif refused to be part of the film.

Silence will see Ranbir once again in a comical role after Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. He will be like the hilarious Charlie Chaplin or the weird Mr. Bean. It’s said that even though the film has humour galore, it also has elements of tragedy and drama.
