Superstar Rajinikanth lands in hospital on the first day of the shoot of ‘Rana’

Rajinikanth admitted to hospital
South megastar Rajinikanth was admitted to hospital as he was not feeling well on the first day of the shoot of his upcoming film Rana in which he plays the triple role.

During the mahurat of the film at AVM Studios today, Rajini did look slightly out of sorts. However, the 60-year-old superstar participated in the pooja and even gave the mahurat shot. But by afternoon, he was visibly unwell.

He was rushed to Isabella Hospital in Mylapore where the doctors gave him necessary treatment. He was reportedly suffering from dehydration and was also running a fever.

Rajinikanth’s wife Latha has said that the actor is doing better and there’s no reason for his fans to panic. The doctors have advised the actor to rest well and not strain himself too much.

The mahurat of the film was also attended by the film’s leading lady Deepika Padukone, director K S Ravikumar and Rajinikanth’s daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya.
