Shahrukh Khan dances to Salman Khan’s tune!

When Shahrukh Khan is at his witty best, expect a blast. The King Khan was in an exceptionally funny mood at the wedding of Mallika Reddy and Siddharth in Hyderabad during the weekend.

The wedding of Mallika Reddy, daughter of business tycoon GVK Reddy, saw a lot of Bollywood presence. Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh and Preity Zinta were some of the celebs adding razzle-dazzle to the wedding.

But none could match the charisma of Shahrukh Khan at the sangeeth ceremony on Friday. Shahrukh came on stage and said that he was there to replace Jennifer Lopez who couldn’t come to the wedding for a performance. So even though he had a sprained knee, Shahrukh turned around and shook his bum like Jennifer Lopez and said: “Every time I do this, it's to remind you that I am here in place of JLo.”

The King Khan performed to the song “Main Hoon Don” from his upcoming film Don 2, but when he spotted Amitabh Bachchan, the original Don, sitting in the front row and enjoying the show, Shahrukh joked: “Mr Bachchan, I apologise for having performed this in front of you.”

But the highlight of the evening was when Shahrukh imitated Salman Khan’s dance steps on stage. Shahrukh yanked out goggles from behind his shirt (just like Salman Khan in Dabangg) and danced to the tune of the popular song ‘Dhinka Chika’ from Salman’s latest film Ready.

Shahrukh described it as song for the Reddys from the film ‘Ready’.

The gathering of 2000 people at the venue had a whale of a time as Shahrukh regaled them with his witticisms.
