Dia Mirza wants to direct socially relevant films Dia Mirza
Former beauty queen and one of the gorgeous actresses of Bollywood, Dia Mirza is now thinking of donning the director’s hat.

The lady has just turned producer with the company Born Free Entertainment in partnership with Zayed Khan and Sahil Sangha. Their first production is Love Breakups Zindagi.

Now, as soon as this maiden production venture gets over, the 29-year-old actress wants to graduate to the level of direction.

“As soon as my production venture gets over I want to direct next. As we have a dearth of good scripts in the industry, I will make a 'people driven film'. Being a slice of life person, I strongly feel that our films should be socially relevant,” Mirza is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Talking about Love Breakups Zindagi in which she pairs with Zayed Khan, Dia said it was a challenge to shoot the movie on real locations in Delhi.

“We shot in many locations of Delhi and Mumbai. It was a kind of challenge for all of us as there are so many aspects that needs to be taken care of,” Dia said.

The film’s first look will be shown at IIFA in Toronto.
