Sonakshi Sinha admits that she has weight issues but is all set to prove how being curvy can be beautiful. She will do a sizzling track in Shirish Kunder’s film Joker and she openly claims that she doesn’t believe in going to an extreme by being ‘stick-thin’.

Okay, we got it, no size-zero for Sonakshi, but why does she feel the pressure if she is happy with the way she looks. The actress is quoted as saying, “I work hard to maintain myself and always try to look better…. Also if I have been accepted for the way I look, why would I do anything to change it? There is pressure from a lot of people, but that’s not what my audience wants. I’m happy with the way I look.”

So when a section of media circulated the report that Shirish Kunder has asked Sonakshi to lose weight, the actress felt the need to clarify it. She even accused the media of being ‘personal’ and ‘ridiculous’. “If it were true, I wouldn’t have five films lined up,” says the Dabangg actress. The film Joker has an item song where Sonakshi will not only flaunt her foot-jugglery, but will also show how curvy can be beautiful.

A few days back when Sonakshi walked the ramp at a fashion event in Delhi, many including her fans were busy commenting on various sites and blogs that she looks plump. In fact, Rakhi Sawant wrote on her blog that she can help out Sonakshi in losing some pounds.

As for now, Sonakshi has in her kitty Prabhu Deva’s Rowdy Rathore, Abbas Mustan’s Race 2, Shirish’s other film Kick with Salman Khan, and also a film with Ajay Devgan which has a unique title, SOS - Son Of Sardar.
