TV host Ayushmann Khurrana prepares to play sperm donor
The jovial TV host and Vj Ayushmaan Khurrana is gearing up for his first film Vicky Donor and guess what role he is going to play in the movie? A sperm donor. The actor admits it wasn’t an easy decision to sign the film as he was completely baffled when director Shoojit Sircar explained to him the role.

Ayushmaan is nervous but thrilled at the same time. The actor speaks about his experience, “Initially, I was excited as I was clueless about the script. But later, I didn't know how to react! The question on my mind was - 'Do I look like a sperm donor?’”

It was tough for Ayushmann to make others, especially the aunties of Delhi, understand this as well. When he was shooting in Delhi, women used to come to him and ask questions, “sperm donor ki hunda hai?” (What do you mean by sperm donor?) More or less, Ayushmann succeeded explaining them about the film after which their amusement knew no bounds.

Ayushmann Khurana started his career as a VJ after he won Roadies Season 2, and later became a known TV host. He has done anchoring for some popular reality shows like India’s Got Talent and Just Dance. He was even a Radio Jockey once. His first Bollywood film is Vicky Donor, a light-hearted take on the subject of sperm donation, being produced by actor John Abraham and Rising Sun Films and is expected to release in mid-2012.
