Box office report: 'Don 2' inches closer to Rs. 100 crore mark
'Don 2' expected to hit the billion mark soon

Box office report: 'Don 2' inches closer to Rs. 100 crore mark
Will it make it to the Rs. 100 crore club or not has been the question weighing on the minds of trade pundits ever since Shahrukh Khan’s latest film Don 2 hit the theatres two days before Christmas.

Well, looks like the film is set to achieve that milestone soon, for its ten-day collection stand at a little over Rs. 94 crore. The film raked in a decent Rs. 75 crore in its first week and added another Rs. 19 crore to its kitty over the second weekend which began on Friday with a collection of Rs. 4.45 crore that rose to Rs. 6 crore on Saturday and spiked to Rs. 8.55 crore on Sunday, the first day of 2012.

Ideally, trade pundits would have liked to see the film with a big name as Shahrukh Khan reach the billion mark within the first ten days, but Don 2 will scrape to that milestone this week for sure.
