Oprah Winfrey loved Aishwarya Rai’s gift!
When in India, dress as Indians do. Well, Oprah Winfrey sure did bowl over many a fan of hers when she stepped out draped in a colourful sari on Monday.

The sari was apparently gifted to Oprah Winfrey by Aishwarya Rai, whom Oprah met personally at the Bachchan residence Juhu on Monday night. It’s a Tarun Tahiliani sari and Oprah did get compliments from a lot of people at Parmeshwar Godrej’s party hosted for Oprah that very evening. So much so that a we hear that Oprah plans to keep the sari and take it with her to the USA.

Oprah Winfrey shares a special bond with Aishwarya Rai, who has appeared twice on her show. It is heard that Winfrey was very curious to see Aishwarya Rai’s two-month-old daughter when she arrived in Mumbai and therefore drove to the Bachchan residence to meet the little girl and her mom.

Oprah apparently called the girl a “princess”, which only reminds us that even after two months Aishwarya Rai’s baby girl is still without a formal name.

It was earlier reported that the Bachchans have already finalized the name but will announce it after Makar Sakranti. However, the wait for the little one’s name continues.
