Deepika Padukone is finally back in 'Race 2'

A complaint with CINTAA (Cine and Television Artistes Association) and AMPTPP (Association of Motion Pictures and Television Programme Producers) and an enraged big shot producer demanded the dates for a film from which she already opted out citing delay issues, all is not well on the professional front for Deepika Padukone.

Now, it’s heard that Deepika Padukone has called truce with producer Ramesh Taurani that too without many demands and conditions. It’s even learnt that at a recent party her co-stars Saif Ali Khan and John Abraham also gave her a royal snub. Both these actors are also part of Race 2.

Also a source is quoted as saying that a Non-Cooperation Directive would have been issued against her which can be detrimental to a star.

The source further adds that Deepika couldn’t afford taking chances, and that’s why she wants Ramesh Taurani to withdraw the complaint against her. But Taurani maintains, “The question of Non-Cooperation Directive would have arisen if the issue was going to be solved with the involvement of the associations. But we’re sorting it all between ourselves.”

Ramesh Taurani is so eager to have Deepika Padukone that he can’t think of any other actress to fit in Race 2 in place of Deepika. As per sources, the value that Deeps brings to the project is immense.

Does this all mean Deepika Padukone is back in Race 2?
