Dhanush’s film ‘3’ to release on March 30
Songs are identified by the films they feature in, not the other way round. Correct? Not really, if you consider the roaring rage that ‘Kolaveri Di’ became. Now, the film featuring it, titled 3, will hit the screens on March 30.

Starring Dhanush, who sang ‘Kolaveri Di’, and Shruti Haasan in lead roles, the film (3) will release on the last Friday of this month. The confirmation came from Dhanush himself.

"After all d hype "3" will release on MARCH 30 th guys.Yes 10 days 4m now.D release will b in tamil n telugu.Hindi vil follow shortly.god bless," Dhanush wrote on Twitter.

His wife Aishwarya Dhanush, who is making her debut as a director, also confirmed the release date.

“March 30 2012 "3" my debut film as a director will hit the screens..I hope I live up to all ur expectations..may u n the almighty be wit me:),” Aishwarya Dhanush wrote on Twitter.

The film is produced by Dhanush’s father Kasthuri Raja and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
