Has Aishwarya Rai lost her glam appeal!

There is no denying that Aishwarya Rai is still a Queen of Hearts for the Indians. The beautiful Bachchan bahu continues to be the most popular and much-talked about star in the industry. No wonder, the entire nation awaits her next move. Be her marriage, or recently, her pregnancy, motherhood, public appearances, or style statement, Aishwarya Rai captures the imagination.

The gorgeous actress was also voted to be among the top five contenders in India’s Glam Divas -- a show on BIG CBS. But, does being glamorous interest Aishwarya nowadays? Or -- now that Priyanka Chopra has been crowned India’s Glam Diva -- has Ash lost her glam appeal? Or, is Aishwarya just content to be a simple lady, busy playing a mother to her daughter Aaradhya.

While talking on BIG CBS India’s Glam Diva earlier, Aishwarya Rai said that acting was just another career option for her. She never planned for it, and when she became an actress, she took her job seriously. And that’s why she went through a fitness regime for the role of glamorous Sunehri in Dhoom 2. Ash confesses that for the first time in her life she tried workouts to look slim and toned for the film, as she is not someone who is into physical exercise.

“Contrary to popular belief, right since modeling, to the (Miss World) title, to films, I have never been a fitness freak or exercised,” Aishwarya said.

So has that lack of zest for fitness cost Aishwarya her glam image, as she’s lost to Priyanka in the India’s Glam Diva contest?

Whatever, her fans are still waiting to see this green-eyed actress in her fittest avatar. But it seems the new mommy has set her priority, and for the time being, we would see her in this avatar only, a little shorn of glamour though it may be.
