Censor Board sees red over Paoli Dam’s bold dialogues in ‘Hate Story’

There is a liberal sprinkling of the ‘F’-word swears in the first uncensored promo of Hate Story that released on youtube a while ago. However, the Censor Board has objected to all the bold talk in the trailer.
The sex talk and swear words in the promo will now be beeped and that has left the film’s director Vivek Agnihotri effing angry. Agnihotri says the Censor Board is filled with “old-fashioned people”. He also says that while lovemaking scenes are allowed to be screened in TV soaps, the Censor Board comes heavily on the promos of the films that have even a little bit of explicit content.
Just what exactly is the Censor Board objecting to? The uncensored promo (which you can check out below) has the film’s lead actress Paoli Dam saying a dialogue “Main iss sheher ki sabsi badi r**di banna chahti hoon” (I want to be the best hooker in this city). In another dialogue when she takes her revenge from a guy who did her wrong, Paoli says: “I f**k those people who f**k me”.
This apart, the trailer has a lot of skin show, with Paoli being stripped, her body caressed, and she having sex with a number of male actors.
In Hate Story, Paoli plays a character who is wronged by a businessman and thereby turns into a prostitute to exact revenge.
Director Vivek Agnihotri says Hate Story is an erotic thriller and is meant only for adults. He’s adamant on not deleting any scenes from the film’s final print.
