First look - Farhan Akhtar as the legendary Milkha Singh in ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’

The first look of Farhan Akhtar’s film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is out. The actor plays the legendary athlete Milkha Singh, also known as the Flying Sikh, in the movie directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The first poster of the film is a shocking revelation, see it for yourself.

Farhan Akhtar looks like the mirror image of the athlete, and for the first time he gets to show his toned muscles as well. The black-and-white poster is reminiscent of the 50s era; Farhan dons a bun, with moustache and beard, resembling Milkha Singh to perfection (catch the image of the athlete at the bottom).

One can’t stop wondering at Farhan and how convincingly he has adopted Mikha Singh’s look and style for the film. According to reports, Farhan Akhtar took training not just for the toning up of his body, but also to learn the body language of the athlete, and the result is for us to see in this poster.

The makeover certainly wasn’t easy for Farhan Akhtar. The actor studied minutely the pictures and videos of the athlete to get the body language right for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Reportedly he even met Milkha Singh’s trainer to take notes on how he trained the champion.

The film also stars Sonam Kapoor in the lead role opposite Farhan Akhtar. Here’s the first look of the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. See the striking resemblance between the two; one is an actor, the other, a star athlete.
