Karan Johar now a judge for the show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'

Guess who will join Madhuri Dixit as a judge in the show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5? Surprisingly, it’s Karan Johar, who debuted on TV as a chat show host and now will try hands at being a judge of a dance reality show.

Karan Johar is just back from the Bangkok schedule of his film, Student Of The Year, and is quite thrilled to share the spotlight with dancing diva Madhuri Dixit. The director has no pending projects for now and he is looking forward to be a judge in the upcoming fifth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, which shows celebrities trying to learn dance steps with professional dancers and then performing on stage. Each celebrity is given a dancer to form a dancing couple, and that dancer is responsible for making that particular celeb dance in the show.

For the promo of the fifth edition of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Madhuri Dixit has also paid a tribute to yesteryear superstar Meena Kumari, who wooed the audiences with her graceful moves in ‘Thade Rahiyo’ from the 1972 classic film, Pakeezah.

Madhuri has also shot for other dance numbers as well, paying homage to actresses like Mumtaz and Sridevi.

The third judge in the show is the very popular co-judge of the show Dance India Dance, the choreographer Remo D’Souza.

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will soon go live, but the names of the star participants are still kept under wraps.
