The latest buzz to engulf the B-town is that the Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap is keen to rope in heroine Sonakshi Sinha in his next film which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, and that makes us wonder how the couple will look together.

The movie is named Kaarnaama, which is actually a full-fledged love story about a hoodlum’s unrequited love for a girl who has only contempt for what he represents. As Ranbir Kapoor is finalized to play the hero, Abhinav wants his ‘Dabangg’ heroine Sonakshi Sinha to play the simple girl. Now comes the twist, it’s learnt that the producers Viacom 18 feel that introducing a new girl opposite Ranbir would make much more commercial sense for the film.

However, Abhinav differs in opinion. Since Ranbir and Sonakshi are never paired together, the couple assures a novelty factor. “Ranbir and Sonakshi are an untried pair and would serve the script’s purpose very well. Ranbir plays a rough-talking foul-mouthed Delhi goon. The girl is a soft-spoken gentle soul. The chemistry would be perfect,” reveals a source.

Sonakshi Sinha has signed only one film with a young actor, and that’s Lootera opposite Ranveer Singh, while the rest of her films are with the senior actors like Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan. Do you think Sonakshi Sinha will look better opposite Ranbir Kapoor?

The movie Kaarnaama will be shot entirely in Delhi. Earlier, too, Ranbir has shot for some sequences of his film Rockstar at various locations in the capital. The decision on the heroine for Kaarnaama is yet to be taken.
