Looks like all the barbs from fashion police have been like water off duck’s back for Aishwarya Rai. The actress says she’s in bliss, and the source of that sublime feeling is her seven-month-old daughter Aaradhya.
At the 25th anniversary celebration of Britain's MP of Indian origin Keith Vaz in London, Aishwarya Rai spoke about the joy of motherhood.
“Being a mum, I love it. It is like a bliss,” she revealed. When asked about her plan of returning to films, Ash was somewhat non-committal.
“We will see as things go. Right now, it is blissful (to be with the baby),” Aishwarya said.
Apparently, Ash is very much a hands-on mother and personally performs all the motherly duties, so much so that hubby Abhishek doesn’t have to do much.
Abhishek Bachchan said: “I am guilty. I don't spend enough time with the baby to change her nappies. She (Ash) does all the hardwork.”
More than five years after their marriage, the couple’s love is still strong, evident when you ask Aishwarya Rai about the greatest day of her life.
“The day I married Abhishek. It was a great day,” Ash said. |
