Kareena Kapoor is looking her curvaceous best in the song Halkat Jawani. The item song, however, wasn’t part of the film Heroine when Aishwarya Rai was on board. Did Kareena inspire the sizzling item track?
Yet to be released, the song is already in news thanks to the first look that has oomph dripping from every inch of the sensuous Kareena Kapoor draped in a sexy sari. Music composer Salim Merchant (of Salim-Sulaiman duo) has composed the track for the film and reveals why the song is a special one. According to Salim, the name of the song has its own Marathi tadka, since even director Madhur Bhandarkar is a Maharashtrian.
“The word halkat is enough to tease the listener. But this is just one song that has been revealed to the media. There are more beautiful songs that you need to look forward to,” tells Salim to a daily.
When asked if the song was composed when Aishwarya Rai was the original choice for Heroine, the composer replied that the idea for the song was conceived only after Kareena Kapoor entered the scene. The song, shot recently, required Bebo to look fit than ever, and the actress ensured that she looks super fit and fab in the song.
The actress once again went back to her size-zero frame, but maintained her curves for the track. Wondering how Aishwarya Rai would have looked if the song was meant for her! Covered from top to bottom or was there any scope of her exposing a bit?
