Salman Khan joins Facebook; gets 2.6 million likes!

Salman Khan, the star of the masses, has now joined Facebook. He interacted on the social networking site through a video.

The superstar has so far got 2.6 million LIKES on his Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/BeingSalmanKhan.

Salman Khan’s first direct message to the fans comes through a video in which he says: “Lots of people told me that there are a lot of fake Facebook pages in my name online. When are you joining? Toh yeh lo. Facebook par aa raha hoon. And for all the fake pages, either they should join in, or what else shall I say: FAKE OFF!.”

Salman added: “The first video will be of the Being Human clothing store that shall open soon. We will be opening Being Human stores all over India starting from October. See you at the stores.”

Salman Khan’s entry on Facebook follows that of Amitabh Bachchan who joined the networking site recently.

Salman’s move to open Being Human stores throughout India is not just to promote charity but also curb the piracy of Being Human products.
