Rekha celebrates her birthday on October 10 every year. Amitabh Bachchan celebrates his on October 11. But this year, their birthday celebrations are set to coincide. How?

It’s no secret that preparations are underway for a big celebration as Big B turns 70. Jaya Bachchan, for one, is going to host a dinner on the evening of October 10 to usher her husband’s birthday, as October 11 is going to be reserved for puja and celebrations with family only, reports say.

For the Big bash on October 10, we hear, the who’s who of Bollywood will get the invite.

Now, here’s the coincidence. Rekha who turns 58 this year also celebrates her birthday on October 10. So it’s for the first time that Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan will celebrate their birthdays on the same day, though not together, obviously.

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan, who’s being sought after for interviews by the media and already showered with compliments from the fans, makes a light of his 70th birthday.

“A million interviews, a million good wishes and a million desires of continuance... birthdays at 70 seem special to some. Just another day for me,” 69-year-old veteran wrote on Twitter.

Talking about the interviews, he wrote: “Non stop around 40 interviews or more for electronic and print ... never spoken so much in my life about my life !!”
