Aishwarya Rai to appear on David Frost’s new show!

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai will be interviewed by British journalist Sir David Frost for his new series called The Frost Interview.

Ash may be keeping away from films, but she’s busy as any celeb mom of a cute 11-month-old baby could be. Having just returned from the US where she assumed her new role as the UNAIDS goodwill ambassador, the 38-year-old stunner is now going to appear on Sir David Frost’s new show.

Frost is a world renowned journalist, most famous for his interviews with the former American President Richard Nixon, interviews that were adapted into play and films.

Sir David Frost is reportedly flying to Mumbai to interview Aishwarya Rai later this week. Incidentally, the Bachchan household would be busy celebrating Amitabh Bachchan’s 70th birthday on Wednesday and Thursday. So the interview might take place over the weekend.

The Frost Interview will be an eight-part series, each consisting of an hour long interview with a celebrity that has made contribution or brought about significant change in their respective field of work. We hear the first two celebrities selected for the show are Sir Paul McCartney, former Beatles member and singer, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, the South African activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner (1984).

Aishwarya Rai has already appeared on the chat shows by Oprah Winfrey and David Letterman.
