Veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra died on Sunday at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. He is survived by his wife Pamela and two sons Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra. As soon as the news of the veteran’s death came out, film fraternity thronged to the hospital and also Yash Raj Studios to pay respects to the deceased stalwart.

The veteran had been admitted to hospital on October 13 after he was diagnosed with dengue. According to reports the filmmaker suffered multiple organ failure because of which he died.



Mumbai, Oct 22 (ANI): Bollywood's 'King of Romance' Yash Chopra's final journey has begun from Yash Raj studio in Andheri. The last rites will take place at Pawan Hans crematorium, in Ville Parle.

Yash Chopra passed away on Sunday evening at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital due to multi-organ failure. Chopra who had turned 80 on September 27 this year, was busy preparing for the release of his last directorial venture 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'.

A remarkable number of people gathered outside the Yash Raj Studios to catch the final glimpse of the Bollywood trend setter.
