Aishwarya Rai to make a comeback with a Karan Johar film?
A lot of buzz surrounds the return of Aishwarya Rai to big screen. First, it was said that she will make a comeback with a Mani Ratnam film, and now it’s heard that the actress is in talks with Karan Johar for a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s classic, Bemisal.

Not long back, Aishwarya Rai had revealed in an interview that she is reading scripts and would soon return to silver screen. As per sources, Karan Johar is apparently interested in making the remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1982 film, Bemisal that starred Amitabh Bachchan, Rakhee and Vinod Mehra in the lead, and for the role of Rakhee he has Aishwarya Rai in mind.

Sources further claim that the director is already in talks with Aishwarya Rai for the remake, a film based on friendship, loyalty and sacrifice. If Aishwarya does agree to do this movie, this will be her first film with the director Karan Johar. With this film, she will also get a chance to act in a remake of the film that starred her father-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan.

Aishwarya Rai’s last film was Guzaarish released in 2010. The actress is currently busy raising her daughter Aaradhya, who will complete one year this November 16.
