Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie Rangrezz looks colourful, vibrant and loaded with drama. For our Bollywood buffs, let us tell you that the film Rangrezz is fourth in the row of Nadodigal remakes. The film has already been made in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. So, no surprises why producer Vashu Bhagnani chose Nadodigal for the remake which is a movie quintessentially about friendship and love.
Just like the original, Rangrezz revolves around three characters, all three are thick of friends and quite happy in their small locality. Everything is hunky dory until the hero’s childhood friend enters their life. He is badly in love with a girl, and the trio decides to unite the lovers, and they fight against all the odds to do so. What consequences the three friends face after the incident forms the crux of the story.
Jackky Bhagnani as the boy-next-door is a welcome change in the trailer. The hunk has come a long way from being just an eye candy on big screen with his six packs. Priya Anand, who was last seen in English Vinglish as Sridevi’s pretty niece helping her out in the US, looks confident and charming in the trailer. The two other friends of Jackky Bhagnani in the film are fresh faces.
Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer, while the movie has music by Sajid-Wajid. Here, catch the dramatic first trailer of Rangrezz, releasing January 2013:
