'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' craze peaks in Pakistan
Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer sets cash registers ringing in Pakistan

The fears about Shahrukh Khan’s latest release Jab Tak Hai Jaan being possibly banned in Pakistan have turned out unfounded. Not only has the flick released in Pak, but to top it, is turning out to be quite a rage there.

Yash Chopra’s last directorial film was passed by the Pak censor board and the movie buffs got their tickets booked in advance.

Sheikh Amjad Rasheed, Chairman of IMGC which is distributing Jab Tak Hai Jaan in Pakistan, reportedly held a special screening of the film at Atrium Karachi on Wednesday. Rasheed is a very close friend of Yash Chopra the screening was a tribute to the late filmmaker.

Going by the trends on Twitter, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has opened to an excellent response from the fans in Pakistan. The film is running to packed houses and might break box office records for any Bollywood film in Pakistan.

In fact, the response is so good that JTHJ might match the box office collections of the Pakistani blockbuster Bol.

Both Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif have a huge fan following in Pakistan. Shahrukh’s My Name Is Khan was also a rage in Pakistan, so was Katrina’s Mere Brother Ki Dulhan which featured her opposite Pakistani actor Ali Zafar.
