Kareena Kapoor will not cut her hair for Prakash Jha's 'Satyagraha'

After Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, the new heroine of Prakash Jha is Kareena Kapoor, who will star in his Satyagraha. Bebo will play a challenging role of a journalist in the film.

However, the role demands her to cut her long hair short, and the actress seems to be in no mood to do that. In fact, Kareena has never sported short hair in any of her films. In the past, actresses like Preity Zinta, Kajol,Rani Mukerji and even Bebo’s sister Karisma Kapoor have sported short hair in their films, but most achieved the look via wigs rather than actually putting their lush tresses under the scissors.

According to a tabloid, Kareena Kapoor’s character is apparently based on the internationally famous Emmy-winning news correspondent Christiane Amanpour, who is known for her reporting skills from strife-torn countries like Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine and Sudan. Christiane is also known for her style quotient. A short hep haircut and fringes is a distinct feature of hers.

May be that’s why the makers of the film want Kareena to cut her hair to look natural and authentic. But that’s not what Kareena is going to do. “I’m going to play a very glamourous role in the film. I will not be cutting my hair for sure. Long, flowing hair is one of the USP’s of an actress be it in songs or in a film,” the actress is quoted as saying.

The actress even maintains that since she is a brand endorser of a shampoo brand, she cannot think of chopping off her mane; and when hair wigs come handy, who needs to?

For Kareena Kapoor, a beautiful actress should always have long flowing hair.
