Though it is almost a decade since Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor’s engagement was called off, both the families have avoided each other on various occasions. However, now as Amitabh and Kareena are working in the same film, they have let bygones be bygones. Moreover, they are refreshing some old fond memories.
One such memory is of Kareena’s childhood. Big B has written an entire blog on Bebo and how she has grown up to be a beautiful actress. He still remembers how Kareena was once troubled after watching the shoot of Pukaar where Big B was beating up her father Randhir Kapoor and she had almost thought that the actor was “evil”.
“I was narrating to her (Kareena), one such moment when we were shooting for Pukar in Goa and how she looked with her cute summer hat with little pink flowers on them, and how troubled she had been when during an action sequence I was hitting her father. She in her innocence had run on to the set in the outdoors and clung to her Father to protect him from this 'evil' man who was beating him up…,” writes Big B.
He also adds, “She soiled her pretty little feet in the sand and I had asked for some water and washed her tiny feet clean, to make her realise that this act was not for real but an enactment. I think after the feet washing, her opinion seemed to have changed about me. I wasn’t that 'evil' after all !! She still remembers that moment !!”
Amitabh Bachchan often takes a stroll down memory lane while writing his blogs, and gives his fans an insight into his life.
Satyagraha will be Kareena Kapoor’s first release after her wedding last October, though she did do an item song Fevicol Se in Dabangg 2.
In Satyagraha, she plays a journo, while Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a role based on Anna Hazare.
