While the promos of Sanaya Irani’s Chanchan have been received with an overwhelming response, the audiences are eagerly waiting to see the hero of Sanaya in the telly show.
As you all know by now, Sanaya Irani, who successfully played Khushi -- one of the most popular characters on TV last year -- will be back on small screen as Chanchan. But it seems the makers are not willing to divulge the name of her hero.
Earlier, it was even reported that Sanaya’s real-life beau Mohit Sehgal is being considered for the role. Then, names of actors like Vishal Karwal, Arjun Bijlani, Varun Kapoor were also doing the rounds. According to a tweet from the Business Head & Senior Vice President of Sony television, Sneha Rajani, the lead actor in Chanchan is Vishal Karwal, last seen in Bigg Boss 6. Sneha tweeted on March 8, “Vishal Karwal it is! #ChhanChhan”
However, it’s also heard that a new guy will make his debut on the show. Model Farhan Khan is apparently Sanaya Irani’s hero in Chanchan, claim reports.
Producer Vipul D Shah tells a daily, “The initial plan was to launch a new female lead, but we liked Sanaya’s audition so much that we decided to cast her. This changed the dynamics and we thought of casting all known faces in the show. However, later we felt that established actors may not bring any freshness to the show and hence, a new face was cast.”
Sanaya’s last serial Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon was a hit show, thanks to her sizzling chemistry with the serial’s male lead Barun Sobti. Naturally, her fans want to see a good-looking guy like Barun opposite her.
The show Chanchan starts March 25, and the name of the lead actor is still under wraps. So, let the show begin to get your answers. |
