|The Nawab of Pataudi Saif Ali Khan was apparently apprehensive of his blond look in his forthcoming film Go Goa Gone, in which he plays a Russian gangster.
It’s learnt that Saif Ali Khan's look for the zombie film, Go Goa Gone, was decided after much deliberation as every other look failed to make an impression. The actor will be seen as Boris, who is on a mission to hunt down zombies in Goa.
“A lot of looks were tried. Different hairstyles and different hair colours were tested before he zeroed on the backcombed mafia look. Saif put his apprehensions aside and went ahead with the collective convictions of director-duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and himself,” a source tells a tabloid.
Moreover, he even got a tattooed body and beefed up a bit to look the part. Since Saif plays a Russian, he also learnt to speak the language. In the trailer too, he is shown speaking English in a Russian accent. But funnily, the Zombie hunter is not without desi shades, and knows Hindi as well.
When the actor first made an appearance in the blond look at the Mumbai airport last year, the onlookers were shocked, and the bizarre look did raise many eyebrows at that time.
But, Saif Ali Khan is confident about his new look, as he least experiments with his hairstyle. Also, it blends with his rough-tough character in Go Goa Gone.
The movie will release May 10, and also stars Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwary and Puja Gupta.
