|As Shahrukh Khan has pinned a lot of hopes on Chennai Express -- an Eid release for 2013 -- the actor is fully concentrating on the film. In fact, while shooting for Rohit Shetty’s romcom in Wai, the actor made the village his base for all his work.
As per recent reports, ever since the schedule of Chennai Express commenced in Wai, Shahrukh Khan has almost set up his home and office in the village, a few kilometers away from Mumbai.
Shahrukh is leaving no stone unturned to make his Eid-release a blockbuster material. Thus, he is juggling time between the film, his commercials, IPL, and his other work commitments. “In the past one month, he had shot for five ads there, including a tea and automobile brand. The people behind the brands had to fly down to Wai to get their work done,” a source tells a tabloid.
Chennai Express, starring Deepika Padukone in the female lead, is almost 80 percent complete now. The last schedule of the film has recently moved to Kerala.
This time Eid at the box office doesn’t belong to Salman Khan, who usually likes to come up with his movies on the big day. The year 2013 is different and the Eid will witness a clash of two biggies -- Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar -- at the BO. Akshay’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again will also hit theatres alongside SRK’s Chennai Express.
