Hollywood sensation Sendhil in Ekta Kapoor film |

Ekta Kapoor has successfully roped in popular actor of the hit American TV series ‘Heroes’, Sendhil Ramamurthy, for her next film ‘Shor’.

Confirming the news, the television Czarina is quoted by a daily, “It’s true. He’s the one of the biggest Indian actors abroad. It took us about six months to rope him in. I think it’s a big coup for us.”

Sendhil is an American actor of Indian origin; his parents belong to Tamil Nadu, and he has worked in various shows, though he gained extreme popularity through his character Mohinder Suresh in ‘Heroes’. ‘Ellen’, ‘Casualty’, ‘Guiding Light’, ‘Ultimate Force’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ are some of his shows where he has proved his mettle.

Now the Hollywood sensation is all set for a masala Bollywood film. Talking about ‘Shor’ Ekta says, “It’s a satirical, cool, smart comedy based in urban India, and Sendhil plays one of the guys in the film. There are three stories in the film and all are inter-connected. I am a big fan of ‘Heroes’ and am very excited that he’s doing a Balaji film.”

And guess who gets to play the other main lead? Tusshar Kapoor! Ekta is planning special sessions for both Sendhil and Tusshar to bond together. Bingo!
