2009 was a golden year for the musician A R Rahman, who turns 44 today. A media-shy person, Rahman is not that into celebrations.
For him, it rained awards last year: he brought home two Oscars and BAFTA and earned accolades for his marvelous compositions from Slumdog Millionaire. But the Mozart of Madras has his head firmly on his shoulders and for sometime is keeping a low-profile. But that doesn’t mean his fans will be devoid of his music. So, what’s in store for Rahmaniacs?
On international front, apart from his concerts that are planned in the Middle-East, Singapore and Australia, he has projects like Danny Boyle’s upcoming mega budget flick ‘127 Hours’ and also the Ashok Amritraj film ‘Street Dancing’ for the year 2010.
