She stars in the US television show 'Bollywood Hero'

Neha Dhupia on American television
Come August, Neha Dhupia will be on the American television with the show ‘Bollywood Hero’, a three-part one-hour mini series in which she plays an actress who is famous more for controversies than her talent.

The series' executive producer Tabrez Noorani, who is a friend of Neha, helped her bag the part.

“It’s spoofy and comical. It also has elements like how talent does not always get priority in showbiz,” Neha is quoted as saying by a news agency.

She plays Lalima, a typical Bollywood heroine full of starry tantrums but little talent. Her character in the series is surrounded by controversies.

The show will be aired on IFC, an independent film channel from August 6 onwards. Neha has been invited to be part of the premiere telecast.

Back home in Bollywood, Neha is doing five films, including a few big ones like Action Replay with Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai, and De Dana Dan with Akshay and Katrina Kaif.
