Won’t wear a vest

The bulgy muscles he so lovingly flaunted in that shirtless scene in Kaminey aren’t that sinewy anymore. Was that the reason Shahid Kapoor created a costume drama on the sets of Yashraj Films’ Badmaash Company during the weekend?

While filming the movie’s title song at MT Studios, Shahid reportedly created a scene over the costume he was given to wear. Director Parmeet Sethi and producer Aditya Chopra had finalized a white vest to be worn by Shahid in the song set in a pub.

But when Shahid reached the sets, he refused to don the vest, giving the reason that he’s been missing on his daily workouts because his dad’s film ‘Mausam’ doesn’t require him to look brawny. Shahid apparently didn’t want to look thin and weak in the song.

In what turned out to be the case of a director proposing but actor disposing, Parmeet eventually kowtowed to Shahid’s demand. The idea of making Shahid wear a ganji was trashed and a white short-sleeve tee was arranged for Shahid to slip into.

That’s star power.
