It was on Farah Khan’s chat show ‘Tere Mere Beech Mein’, when Karan Johar and Sonam Kapoor were both guests that the duo talked candidly with the host about the body-weight issues they had faced when they were growing-up and how they managed to lose those extra kilos.

Farah, as the chat show host, invites a set of celebs who have been through similar experiences onto each episode so that they have something in common to talk about. The chat show, unlike others, has a different topic for every episode.

Farah encourages her guests to open up and share their feelings and fears, insecurities and interesting incidents. Amazingly, Farah who is a plump lady now was once a thin woman whilst conversely, both Karan Johar and Sonam Kapoor were overweight before but are leaner now.

If Karan looks thin and healthy, Sonam has a slender-sexy figure to flaunt even though she looks wafer-thin. The actress worked out rigorously to star in Saawariya and lost 30 kilos in a very short time span.

Farah is consistently shooting for her chat show as she has to complete it before she is London bound for her brother’s movie Housefull. Up until now she has hosted many guests and was happy to confirm that this episode turned out well. That's hardly surprising as both Karan and Farah are natural chatterboxes and very quick witted, playing off nicely against each other. It definitely shows that they are also very good friends when not working together.

Farah even managed to get Karan to open up about his past and viewers will be treated to some interesting anecdotes, making the episode a must watch.

Farah admits that many will be inspired after viewing this installment of her show and will no longer be weighed down by matters of a few excess kilos. She hopes that her guests will set an example for people who are struggling as both of her guests have emerged as true winners and not just because of their weight loss.

The show will premiere on August 22 on Star Plus.
