Two Bollywood beauties celebrate their birthday today

Her angelic smile could flutter many a heart, but Genelia did have a rocky ride before she cemented her place in Bollywood. With one foot in Mumbai and another down south, Genelia had been straddling the two film industries ever since she began her acting career in 2003. It was the super success of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na in 2008 that catapulted the sprightly Genie into a higher league in Bollywood.

Today, she’s doing films with the likes of Hurman Baweja (It’s My Life), Fardeen Khan (Life Partner), John Abraham (Hook Ya Crook) and Shahid Kapur (a tentatively titled film Yahoo).

That’s ample work for a 22-year-old beauty.
