Ritesh Deshmukh not ready to play gay
Happy being ‘straight’ on camera

A plum project up for grabs, but actor Ritesh Deshmukh unfortunately can’t give his nod to the film. Director Tarun Mansukhani has almost completed the script of the sequel to Dostana and according to reports he has approached Ritesh for the film.

But the dilemma of Ritesh is that he can’t see himself playing a gay, because ‘Dostana 2’ will reportedly have four characters and two of them will be homosexual. Ritesh was approached for playing one such character who gets attracted to men instead of women.

However, as per Tarun, only John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan have been confirmed in the sequel’s cast, and he hasn’t yet approached anyone else for other roles. But sources claim that Ritesh was approached but he politely declined the offer, due to “personal reasons”.

Nevertheless, now at least we know that the smashing duo of Abhishek-John is going to be back in the sequel.

That leaves us in gay mood.
