American actor and singer Jessica Simpson seems to have developed a liking for Indian fashion.

While filming her globe-trotting reality show ‘The Price of Beauty’ in India, Jessica embraced the country’s fashion.

The 29-year-old star wore a turquoise sari, traditional ‘bindi’ and tattooed her hands with henna, at a party thrown in her honour by Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia in Mumbai this weekend, Female First reported.

Dhupia is the Indian beauty ambassador on the singer’s show. “Her bindi was shaped like a goddess’s spear or trident, and painted in holy vermilion, which is really fashionable with young Indian women,” a source said.

“She looked absolutely stunning in a turquoise sari. Looking that good she fitted right in with India’s fashion elite at the party,” the source added.

Talking about the henna, Simpson’s spokesman said, “They’re worn at wedding ceremonies, and are supposed to bring good luck to eligible single women in India.” Simpson has also posted pictures of her Indian encounter on her Twitter account.
