His silence says it all. Broodingly he stares into the distance, eyes like burning coals, his deadpan expression giving nothing away. The seething anger within all but boils over to the surface as he mouths his dialogue. There is no other angry man in Bollywood who can compare to the one and only Amitabh Bachchan.
Perhaps the most popular of all the angry young man roles he has played is the character Vijay in Deewar. With the tattoo “Mera baap chor hai” on his forearm and the badge ‘786’ above it, Amitabh Bachchan breathed fire in every frame he graced in the Yash Chopra directed film. His falling out with his copper brother and most importantly his tete-a-tete with none less than the GOD in the end were the highlights of the film.
Not everyone looks convincing pointing his finger at God and addressing the almighty as ‘tum’.
