Razzle-dazzle at LFW
The fashion fraternity showed up in full force at the just-concluded Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2011, and the event wasn’t devoid of Bollywood razzle-dazzle too. If Kareena Kapoor launched Lakme Absolute by being the showstopper for Manish Malhotra, LFW also witnessed the drop-dead gorgeous Deepika Padukone in all black attire gracing the first row.

In fact, the finale had many hot and happening celebs. Karisma Kapoor was happy to be at the event as she couldn’t afford to miss her good friend Manish Malhotra’s show especially when her sister Kareena is on the ramp. The event also had the stylish Sridevi in attendance that too with her two cute daughters. For the finale, Katrina Kaif’s man was Karan Johar. The actress was busy posing with him offstage. Quite a twosome, we would say!

Shifting our gaze to the showstoppers, some of the best designers chose Bollywood stunners to showcase their collection whether it was a prêt or bridal line. Esha Deol and mom Hema Malini took the centrestage for Shyamal and Bhumika’s bridal line. The quirky Kalki Koechlin was dancing away to glory at Babita Malkani show. Seeing Prachi Desai was such a joy, no doubt she left an impression as she sashayed down the ramp in a splendid anarkali at Neeta Lulla’s show.
