When tempers flare!
The film stars who acquire a larger-than-life persona in the eyes of their fans are no less erring and feuding mortals than an Average Joe who hero-worships them. The spat between Shahrukh Khan and Shirish Kunder proves that more than it has ever been evident.

Shahrukh Khan and Shirish Kunder may have made peace now, hugged and even shed a few tears, but the fact that they came to blows -- what with allegations of hair being pulled and punches squarely delivered -- goes to show that big egos can have short fuses.

Well, it’s granted that everybody blows their lid once in a while, but when you are a celebrity with legions of fans idolizing you, it’s wise to pull your punches and naive to drag the dirty linen to a city hotspot and then expect it to remain hidden from the public eye.

Shahrukh Khan and Shirish Kunder have been through a lot in the last two days. They have fought, pointed accusatory fingers, and then made up, as if it was all a scripted kid-play for the entertainment of the world. The only good thing is that they haven’t stretched the spat too long and buried the hatchet as soon as the media went to town about their scuffle and the micro-blogging sites swarmed with jokes on both of them.

But there are other celebrities who still continue to remain at loggerheads, though years have passed on by and much water flown under the bridge.
