The wedding took place on Thursday morning at the farm house Temple Tress of the bride’s family near Himayath Sagar in Hyderabad.
A special mandap, designed by art director Anand Sai, was put up to resemble the ancestral home of the Kamineni family, the Domakonda fort. Ram Charan Teja and Upasana Kamineni wore traditional dresses by ace designer Tarun Tahiliani.
The groom wore a dhoti, paired with a fine chikan kurta and stole; the bride looked lovely in a sheathed yellow and gold South Indian silk sari with a swarovski encrusted border. The sari was complemented by a rani pink zardosi corset blouse.
The couple exchanged nuptial vows according to traditional Hindu rites, in the presence of the close family members and friends. The groom’s father Chiranjeevi exuded pride and joy.
