Singing sensation and actress Miley Cyrus has chopped her long locks and is flaunting a new short and zany hairdo nowadays, to mixed reactions from her fans.

The “Can’t be tamed” singer has gone for a pixie style hairdo with a punkish touch. She shared her new look on Twitter and also posted an image of the hairstylist about to snip her lovely tresses.

Expectedly, a lot of fans asked Miley Cyrus not to cut her hair, not in the politest of tones, it seems.

“If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. my hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye :)” Miley Cyrus tweeted.

Though the fans had mixed reactions to her new hairdo, Miley seemed to love it.

“Never felt more me in my whole life…someone just told me im prettier than Miley Cyrus,” she wrote.
