Left in the lurch with the sudden demise of Yash Chopra, the entire publicity campaign for the director’s last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan is reportedly set to go through a change, but, as promised to the audiences, the song Ishq Shava has been released and is playing like a rage.

‘Ishq Shava’ is considered to be the best of the lot because it’s fast, zippy and has a very contemporary feel to it. That’s also the reason why it has caught the fancy of the youth. The song picturized on the exotic Katrina Kaif and the handsome Shahrukh Khan at the backdrop of London Bridge in a beautiful night is as mesmerizing as it can get. Wondering where the magic comes from? Is it the music, ambience or sizzling chemistry between Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif!

You know it’s a heady combo when the likes of A R Rahman, Gulzar and late Yash Chopra pool in their talents. Also, choreography by Vaibhavi Merchant is top notch. A mix of tap with contemporary dance moves, and a bottle as a prop is perfectly used to enhance the beauty of the visuals in the track.

Both Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif infuse the song with verve. The actress looks fit and extremely fabulous in the black dress in the song. As for Shahrukh, he looks much younger.
