It was certainly an occasion that required being decked up, and the new bride Kareena Kapoor chose nothing but a red sari, and complementing her sensuous yet traditional look was a dab of ek chutki sindoor. All red and sexy, Kareena was spotted at the wedding reception of Rohit Shetty’s sister Mahek Shetty.
Draped in an embellished Manish Malhotra sari, Kareena graced the gala event, but was without her dear hubby Saif Ali Khan. This was her first major outing after her wedding, and the actress, like a beautiful new bride, even donned a pinch of sindoor on her forehead. However, similarity between a nayi naveli dulhan and Kareena ends there because the actress chose no jewelery except a pair of diamond danglers. She left her arms and neck bare, and opted for a thin strap blouse, thus exposing her back.
We guess she never felt this confident about her body because she looked slender and slim at the event. Though there were other Bollywood stunners like Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone at the wedding reception of Mahek Shetty, Kareena was a sure-shot headturner with truckloads of oomph and a pretty glow on her face. She came to the party with her good friend Karan Johar. Wondering, where was the Chhote Nawab?
