Get your facts right if you believe witches exist only in fairytales. Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, starring Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton, will release in India on February 1 and going by the trailers and videos released so far, the film should be entertaining.

Hansel and Gretel were kids when a traumatic incident involving witches changed their lives forever. The vengeful brother-sister duo then dedicate their entire life to hunt and kill witches (now, that’s an unconventional vocation).

Perhaps since the witches showed no mercy in scarring their childhood, Hansel and Gretel paid them back in their own coin. Do look out for the scenes in the trailer where the duo is seen beheading the witches; it’s a gore fest, really!

When it is learnt that five kids have been abducted by the witches, the hunters smell something fishy and decide to take on the evildoers. However, the witches clearly outnumber the saviours and even abduct Gretel.... which means Hansel is all by himself now.

That should not be a problem for Jeremy Renner considering the impeccable skill he possesses with the bow and arrow; yes, we are talking about Renner, the Hawkeye from The Avengers.
