‘Side Effects’ new trailer gives a peek into the plot

Side Effects
The psychological Hollywood thriller Side Effects, boasting of names like Channing Tatum, Rooney Mara, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones, has got a new trailer and it gives a lot more insight into the plot than the first clip.

This video tells more about the relationship between Emily Taylor (Rooney Mara) and her hubby Martin Taylor (Channing Tatum). Opening up with her psychiatrist Dr. Jonathan Banks (Jude Law), she reveals that she didn’t know who Martin was or what he did, but he just swept her off her feet and they got married.

When her husband was shoved into the slammer, she decided to wait for him and even let him know her decision. However, now that he had served his term inside the jail and was to be released, she wanted to lead a normal life and be free from depression and anxiety she was facing.

That’s when Dr. Banks prescribes her the medicine Ablixa, which works wonders initially, until the bizarre side effects start showing up. She starts sleep-walking and even sleep-driving (weird). However, the life of the couple and the doctor takes a complete new turn when a mysterious murder is reported.

While Side Effects will release in the US on 7 February, it is expected to hit the cinema halls in India the same month. Catch the new trailer below and some pills…err…stills on the pages that follow.
