Bebo in a Tom Ford |
Unlike many of her contemporaries, Kareena Kapoor chooses to be simple at public events. Her dresses are more elegant and they complement her style sense and personality. Thus, when we saw Kareena in an edgy black number by Tom Ford for the launch of her Style Diary, we were a bit surprised.
It’s not every day you see Bebo wearing something snazzy like this, but the Tom Ford dress suited her to a T. The sexy attire had the shapely silhouette of a bodycon, edgy pointed sleeves with shoulder pads, and a gold championship belt that seamlessly blended with Kareena Kapoor’s statuesque personality.
The dress, being a Tom Ford, had a quirky look. Some may find the gold belt odd, but that’s what puts this simple LBD in a different league. Kareena rounded off the look with red lips, side-swept bang, pin-straight hair, and black peep-toes.
Kim Kardashian too wore this dress for Fashion's Night Out event last year. Who do you think rocked this Tom Ford black number better? Kareena Kapoor or Kim Kardashian? While Kareena toned down the dress by keeping it subtle, Kim looked fierce teaming it up with suede ankle-wrap pumps by Gianvito Rossi.
