Deepika Padukone and Rajinikanth’s romance and fights are the highlight of ‘Kochadaiyaan’

Deepika Padukone went out of her way to accommodate dates for Kochadaiyaan. After all, who will miss the golden chance to star opposite the superstar Rajinikanth! Now as the movie is complete, the makers can’t stop raving about Rajini and Deepika’s reel romance and fight sequences.
The team of Kochadaiyaan along with Rajini Sir recently watched the first edited copy of the film and were thrilled and overwhelmed with the results. KS Ravikumar, who is film’s direction supervisor, also revealed a bit about Deepika and Rajini’s on-screen chemistry. Ravikumar said that it’s not just romance between the two, but an elaborate fight sequence that will catch the fancy of the audiences.
There is a full length action sequence between Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone shot extensively in London, which the director’s supervisor claims will be lapped up by the frenzied fans.
Kochadaiyaan is directed by Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth and is a period film which narrates the story of an emperor during the 8th century. The movie has Rajini in a very different look. The superstar’s yogic avatar already features on the first look of the film.
The post production work of Kochadaiyaan will commence shortly, and as per reports, it is expected to the hit theatres in July. The story of the film is written by KS Ravi Kumar, music is by AR Rahman.
Actors like Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar are also part of the film. Kochadaiyaan will also be dubbed in Telugu as Vikrama Simha.
